this car's come up before, I think it was located in NJ. I never heard before that it had a 6.0 liter engine...

It's been on and off the market for a couple years but I do recall it always been advertised as 6L. IIRC BAT has a thread on this wagon.

you're right, I'm just skimming through these old threads.

I checked but this car does not have AMG paperwork, although it was apparently written up in Car and Driver.

Looking at the pictures between the listing and the Car and Driver write-up on this car, I can see some differences, maybe it's just the light...

- side skirts look different to me - Gen 2 in the listing, Gen 1 in the C&D article?
- AMG badge and 6.0 badge are missing
- different wheels
- AMG exhaust missing
- Window chrome trim, roof rails chrome deleted and blackened in the C&D article; looks like chrome in the listing, but might be the light
- Different headlights

Of course, all of the above might have been switched or replaced over the years, and there's talk of several resprays, but I'm doubtful if they would change the body trim and badges.

Am I right with this or is it just the angle of the photography?

The missing badges is odd. I appears as if the light is affecting the roof rails as they were black from the factory. Also the side skirts do look different as you've pointed out.

the roof rails are black in other pictures from previous advertisements, so def just the crappy pictures in eBay. The sideskirts and badges is an issue, along with the exhaust given it's such a low mileage car...that's not to say this is not another 6.0 300TE that AMG produced. The cluster & birsdeye maple are def legit.

and as you know, it's time/location, not mileage that eat those original AMG/Sebring exhaust systems.
