At the Techno Classica in Essen in Germany (classic car fair) last week there was 560 SEL 4V offered for sale. I saw the info on a French forum, will try to copy pictures here. Price tag is 43,000 euros.

I've always wanted to see the Techno Classic fair.. but always timing was bad. I know a lot of youngtimer cars are displayed even a 6.9 AMG in the past.
Thanks for posting those pics above of the 560SEL, wonderful looking car!

No information the year but must be an early conversion (1986 ?) because no AMG signs on the engine housing.

Just noticed it has the rare burlwood speaker covers and dashboard trim.

It has my personal favorite option, the trip computer.
EDIT: My mistake. No date listed. The 1991 with trip computer is for the next w126 they show pictures of which is a 1991 SEC with trip computer, not the one being discussed here.
