That car has been offered for sale more than once. Stripping away all the "ex-Bulls player" crap, it's a low mileage 91 SEC in nice colors with an AMG body kit and wheels "TRUE AMG...YES, TRUE AMG!!!". Nothing more or less. Fair price, IMO, would be mid teens to low $20's, depending on how much deferred maintenance is needed and the in-person true condition of the car. For that low of miles, the interior/exterior should be in stellar condition. If the car is in stellar cosmetic condition and does not need a new suspension, low $20's is fair for 23k miles.

This is BW Member Classic Car's SEC. It is not for sale. But it IS in stellar condition, through and through, the only thing it needs is NOTHING! The owner is local to me and a regular at C&C - great guy and great car.

Yep, thats my baby! Appreciate the pdf...add it to the collection. Know she was offered at a few of the 2nd owners dealerships...

Personally.... I think I stole this car for what I paid for it! (pm me for the market watchers). Honestly..Nothing was deferred...(2nd owner owned like 40 deanships...including MB...the joys of "business expenses")

and 5.4 every classic car needs a story... :D
ours just start with AMG...and I love that.. :)

Thanks lowphat for the heads up! Really appreciate it! Hope to see you around at the C&C's soon!

Good for you to land such a nice SEC. I'm happy to see the nice examples land with enthusiasts who appreciate and take care of these wonderful cars. Curious - is this a current For Sale listing or an old one? I was going to call about the car (condition, history). You mentioned it was owned by a good car guy - did you have to do anything to the car given it has such low miles on it?

Please don't take my comments above as anything negative about your SEC - the way used car ads are written can be tiring. I realize a dealer wants to promote a car and accept that we are fairly expert on W126's. I appreciate thoughtful, accurate ads that focus on the car and not bluster (especially if not totally accurate). Your car would sell itself given the miles and condition.

That should be an old one...as of now the car is not for sale. I really don't have to do much to it...His mechanic who I had the pleasure talking to...seemed to have a love affair with this car. So all fluids, rubber, gaskets, ect.. was all taken care of and seasonal. I brought it to my mechanic for a look over..(Owner of Indy MB shop of 30 years), and afterwards handed me the keys with a smile from ear to ear and said she was perfect...
So far, my biggest job has been the audio system...but that's a whole new thread! (think I made lowphat temporally deaf to some pink floyd solos...sorry about that.. ;) )

And no worries...I fully understand the "humor" of used car listings. I think with the all that "bluster" was when the car was at 40k....and for that high of a price with the market right now....needs to be quite blustery indeed!
But AMG bodykit, shocks, suspension, post merger AMG monoblocks (still wondering how rare those are to the pre merger), amg headers to gen 2 box and resonator...

Honestly, was locked out of this forum cause I forgot where i put my password for about 6 months...but hope to learn a lot here.

Btw, see that it says your from GA? I used to live out in the sticks of Dahlonega..beautiful place down there to stretch a 560's legs!
