Spotted on the local version of the 'bay.....1981 280SE AMG with 4-speed manual 'box....

No affiliation with seller. Trunk badge appears fake. Looks a little under-done on the 15" pentas. Early car retro-fitted with later (facelift) flat lower door panels. Front seats appear non-standard and perhaps Recaro? M110 with a manual box would be fun....tempting me!
Did AMG really produce a 240 kph speedo?

Regarding the speedo, someone just added "AMG" lettering to a stock speedo. Trunk badge looks to be just a decal. The 15" 5-spoke wheels may not be W126-specific, could be off of a W124/W201. No clear pictures of the seats, but they are not stock. Could be Recaro or could be a number of ofther ones, too.
