The market has shown that DOHC is the key to hitting any big $ with these pre-mergers This sedan will sell for far less than a similarly equipped AMG coupe C126.
A WB coupe that sold on MB Market a year ago that didn't realize its full sales potential because it lacked the original DOHC top end. https://thembmarket.com/1988-mercedes-b ... g-widebody BTW, absolute steal this was...
Would make $ sense for the new owner of that coupe to grab this sedan for just about any number it sells for ($150-$250k), pluck the 6L heart out and stick it into the engine bay. That would turn the $100k coupe into a million dollar machine, ha.
