Tough ask. Only two steel flares have come to market in 12 years that I'm aware!

Some members have investigated reproducing the existing fiberglass in steel to no avail.

Good luck with the search and keep us posted if you do land a set!

Was asking $7500 for just the rears, without shipping! Contact me if you wanna buy some fiberglass quarter panels $700, though shipping will be pretty expensive to Australia

You have pictures above of how it's produced, so think about how much human labor it takes before you write something.

There is a company in Germany that has been operating since the 90s, which now also produces steel replicas of very mediocre quality (also based on a scan of the car, not the original raw part) and the cost of ONE SIDE is 5000 eur net!

On the other hand, I have better news: I got hold of NEW, ORIGINAL, STEEL rear fenders for the SEC Widebody and I'm scheming to reproduce them, but just like normal automotive factories - die and press. According to preliminary estimates, after taking into account the cost of the die, the cost of 1 piece can close in the amount of 2000 EUR.

Get an idea of how much it costs to produce a steel die for sheet metal parts, on the basis of which you can only start producing parts, the quantity of which must go into the thousands to make it profitable.

Amazing. Genuine metal quarters are so rare... Reference photos would be great to see!

Re the reproduction effort, steel quarter alternative to the cheap FG currently on the market would be welcomed. I applaud you for efforts.Finding the magic number to amortize costs is always the biggest hurdle. Keep us posted!

A side note: When considering the front an maybe this is your thought already, there is no need to reproduce the entire fender. Simple flares that can be applied over the top of a modified OE fender will be far less expensive to produce. Again keep us posted!
