Member here posted about it. Its his car. If anyone's serious, I can stop by on some weekends to take pictures or give honest assessments.

IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT IT WENT TO A U.S. COLLECTOR THAT KNOWS AND APPRECIATES WHAT IT IS AND WILL PROPERLY CARE FOR IT. ANY PRICE INFORMATION WOULD BE AT THE OPTION OF THE PURCHASER, WHO MAY OR MAY NOT BE A MEMBER OF THIS FORUM. SUFFICE IT TO SAY I THINK HE GOT THE BEST UNRESTORED CAR IN EXISTENCE. THANK THOSE OF YOU WHO WERE INTERESTED.

Beautiful car. That AMG suspension is a very rare option. Did it handle well?

IT DID HANDLE WELL IN THE FIRM SETTING. IN THE SOFT SETTING IT SEEMED TO FLOAT A BIT. THE SHOCKS HAD NEVER BEEN REBUILT. MAYBE TIME AFTER THIRTH YEARS.
AS I SAID IN A PRIOR POST, THIS WAS/IS A WONDERFUL CAR.

Heres my question:

Note this Cincinnati car is a Gen1 not a Gen2. Yet you see the Gen2 fuel system on the engine (cold start injector) and the absence of a warmup regulator.

Did all Gen1's that got 6.0 swaps later in their lives get their wiring harnesses converted to Gen2 style?

Seems some people went to a lot of trouble to convert their later M117 engines to a Gen1 intake to retain the fueling/wiring, when AMG did the opposite? Curious about the Gen1 to Gen2 wiring swap how tuff would that be?

Bondavi,

Meant to post this on benzworld too. Slipped my mind.

Not really difficult at all if you have a complete harness (which im sure AMG had access to from MB) or if you had a donor car (which i had access to in the form of a half cut 560). Just strip the gen1 engine bay and then transplant everything from the genII to the genI. You also have to remember if done all the way the ac wiring and compressor and brackets are different too.
