This 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500SL is a European-market example that was imported to the US under prior ownership and was acquired by the seller on BaT in September 2022. Subsequent service has included wiring repairs and replacing the water pump, steering gear, valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, and mounts for the engine and transmission. The car is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in white over black leather. Equipment includes revised bodywork, 16″ AMG wheels, and a removable hardtop in addition to Recaro front seats, power windows, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Becker Grand Prix stereo. This R107 is now offered in California at no reserve with a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name. The outcome of the previous auction was impacted by a temporary server issue. We have reopened the auction to ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to bid.
