Hello: I just purchased a 1980 45sl on craigslist for $5K the guy said it was an AMG. Regardless the car is in excellent condition so even if he was incorrect I feel that I still have gotten a good deal. The VIN# is 10704412064566 does this tell you somewhere within if it is an AMG? there is three AMG badges total one on the air cleaner one on the dash and one on the deckled. Any information would be greatly appreciated on how I can verify this.
