Welcome to Mercedes AMG Classic - The home to Early AMG and Pre-Merger Classics!

Mercedes AMG Classic website was created with the idea of providing a home for the AMG community, but specifically tailored for pre-merger and Classic AMG enthusiasts. Mercedes-Benz and AMG have not, yet, realized the importance of these early years and there is very little support, history and information available from them directly. Most records were destroyed or locked away during the merger and it has been left to us, the AMG enthusiasts, to fill the gap in information for those early years. Here at Mercedes AMG Classic, we hope to provide a home for that invaluable information in a simple, clean, no-fuss environment, easily-accessible for the small but fast growing group of pre-merger AMG enthusiasts.

Mercedes AMG Classic will maintain a NO BS policy and for those who fail to realize the value provided here need not apply.

I hope you enjoy this website and share as much as I hope you gain from the pool of truly passionate members. Registration is straight forward and additional fields have been provided to include specific details about your AMG to be added to our AMG Registry. Take a moment to include your vehicle details and become a member of the only Pre-Merger Classic AMG Registry in the world. Today, neither Mercedes-Benz nor AMG have records of those early years and we, collectively, can begin to build what has been missing for so many years.

Please feel free to visit often, share your AMG findings, thoughts, AMG experiences and AMG history. With a minimal number of categories, the intention is to keep the design straightforward and user-friendly.

Even if you do not currently own a classic AMG, use this website to arm yourself with the vast knowledge base within, to ensure an educated purchase in the future. Lastly, if you have a tribute AMG, this website will help you keep it "correct" in whichever path you choose to embark on!

Thanks for visiting and please enjoy!

Cheers,
Henric aka 48hp
